The Tinkerbell Philosophy

The Tinkerbell Philosophy: The Universe sprinkles us with it's own special fairie dust every day, giving us fun imaginations, happiness and compassion! It floats onto those we're around, onto the ground for others to pick up and into our hearts to lighten our load. Stretch out your arms so that you can gather the most ...fairie dust to start your day....so you can give more throughout the day. It's simple, really.

This is the moment
It's on the line
Which way you gonna fall?
In the middle between
Wrong and right
But you know after all

It's your life
What you gonna do?
The world is watching you
Every day the choices you make
Say what you are and who
Your heart beats for
It's an open door
It's your life

Are you who you always said you would be
With a sinking feeling in your chest
Always waiting for someone else to fix you
Tell me when did you forget

It's your life
What you gonna do?
The world is watching you
Every day the choices you make
Say what you are and who
Your heart beats for
It's an open door

To live the way that you believe
This is your opportunity
To let your life be one that lights the way

It's your life
What you gonna do?
The world is watching you
Every day the choices you make
Say what you are and who
Your heart beats for
It's an open door

It's your life
What you gonna do?
The world is watching you
Every day the choices you make
Say what you are and who
Your heart beats for
It's an open door
It's your life
It's your life

Random Thoughts

Random Thoughts for the Day:

1. I think part of a best friend's job should be to immediately clear your computer history if you die.

2. Nothing's worse than that moment during an argument when you realize you're wrong.

3. I totally take back all those times I didn't want to nap when I was younger.

4. There is great need for a sarcasm font.

5. How are you supposed to fold a fitted sheet?

6. Was learning cursive really necessary?

7. Map Quest really needs to start their directions on #5. I'm pretty sure I know how to get out of my neighborhood.

8. Obituaries would be a lot more interesting if they told you how the person died.

9. I can't remember the last time I wasn't at least kind of tired.

10. Bad decisions make good stories.

11. You never know when it will strike, but there comes a moment at work when you know that you just aren't going to do anything productive for the rest of the day.

12. Can we all just agree to ignore whatever comes after Blue Ray? I don't want to have to restart my collection...again.

13. I'm always slightly terrified when I exit out of Word and it asks me if I want to save any changes to my ten-page research paper that I swear I did not make any changes to.

14. "Do not machine wash or tumble dry" means I will never wash this -- ever.

15. I hate when I just miss a call by the last ring (Hello? Hello? Dang it!), but when I immediately call back, it rings nine times and goes to voicemail. What'd you do after I didn't answer? Drop the phone and run away?

16. I hate leaving my house confident and looking good and then not seeing anyone of importance the entire day. What a waste.

17. I keep some people's phone numbers in my phone just so I know not to answer when they call.

18. My 4-year old son asked me in the car the other day "mom what would happen if you ran over a ninja?" How do I respond to that?

19. I think the freezer deserves a light as well.

20. I disagree with Kay Jewelers. I would bet on any given Friday or Saturday night more kisses begin with Miller Lites than Kay.

Candy Sayings and Ideas

The favors that are mentioned here are ideas for church ladies group functions but could be used for other type of functions as well. Favors at ladies meetings and banquets add so much. They serve as a keepsake and a memory of your event and also can be used as decorations on your tables for banquets and dinners. Many of these would make great projects for group crafts at ladies meetings and for Retreat Workshops. Also many would be perfect little Secret Sister Gifts. Most of these links will lead to my blog since that's where I've been posting my latest crafty projects:)

Highway Sign

This sign is located in Dallas. It changes every 3 minutes. Some of the sayings included are:
Keep using my name in vain and I will make rush hour longer.
Do you have any idea where you are going?
My way is the highway.
I love you and you and you and you...and...
Tell the kids I love them.
Lets meet at my house on Sunday before the game.
We need to talk.
Do you have any idea where you are going?
Big Bang Theory? You've got to be kidding!
Loved the wedding, invite me to the marriage.
Will the road you are on get you to my house?
Have you read my #1 best seller? There will be a test.
What part of "Thy Shalt Not..." don't you understand?
C'mon over and bring the kids.
You think it's hot here?
Need directions?
Follow me.
That "love thy neighbor" thing... I meant it.

How to Stay Young

HOW TO STAY YOUNG

1. Try everything twice.
On one woman's tombstone she said she wanted this epitaph:
"Tried everything twice.loved it both times!"

2. Keep only cheerful friends.
The grouches pull you down.
(Keep this in mind if you are one of those grouches!)

3. Keep learning:
Learn more about the computer, crafts, gardening, whatever..
Never let the brain get idle. 'An idle mind is the devil's workshop.'

And the devil's name is Alzheimer's!

4. Enjoy the simple things.

5. Laugh often, long and loud.
Laugh until you gasp for breath.
And if you have a friend who makes you laugh,
spend lots and lots of time with HIM/HER.

6. The tears happen:
Endure, grieve, and move on.
The only person who is with us our entire life, is ourselves.
LIVE while you are alive.

7. Surround yourself with what you love:
Whether it's family, pets, keepsakes, music, plants, hobbies, whatever.
Your home is your refuge.

8. Cherish your health:
If it is good, preserve it.
If it is unstable, improve it.
If it is beyond what you can improve, get help.

9. Don't take guilt trips.
Take a trip to the mall, even to the next county,
to a foreign country, but NOT to where the guilt is.

10. Tell the people you love that you love them, at every opportunity.

I love you, my special friend.

11. Forgive now those who made you cry. You might not get a second chance.
Remember! Lost time can never be found.

Be kinder than necessary, for everyone you meet is fighting some kind of battle.
