* None of the Sissy Crap

From Jennie!
Love, love, LOVE this!

None of that Sissy Crap

Are you tired of those sissy 'friendship' poems?
Well, here is a series of promises
that actually speak of true friendship.
You will see no cutesy little smiley faces on this card
-Just the stone cold truth of our great friendship.

1. When you are sad --I will jump on the person who made you sad like a spider monkey jacked up on Mountain Dew!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

2. When you are blue -- I will try
to dislodge whatever is choking you.

3. When you smile -- I will know you are plotting something that I must be involved in.

4. When you're scared -- we will high tail it out of here.

5. When you are worried -- I will tell you horrible stories about how much worse it could be until you quit whining, ya big baby!!!!

6. When you are confused -- I will use little words.

7. When you are sick -- Stay away from me until you are well again. I don't want whatever you have.

8. When you fall -- I'll pick you up and dust you off--
After I laugh my butt off!!

9. This is my oath...I pledge it to the end.
'Why?' you may ask -- because you are my FRIEND!

Friendship is like peeing your pants,
everyone can see it, but only you can
feel the true warmth.

* Today's Thoughts

If you want your dreams to come true, you mustn't oversleep.

The best vitamin for making friends..... B1.

The happiness of your life depends on the quality of your thoughts.

A sharp tongue can cut your own throat.

You lie the loudest when you lie to yourself.
If you lack the courage to start, you have already finished.
One thing you can't recycle is wasted time.

Ideas won't work unless ' You' do.

Of all the things you wear, your expression is the most important.

The pursuit of happiness is the chase of a lifetime! It is never too late to become what you might have been.

The heaviest thing you can carry is a grudge.

One thing you can give and still keep...is your word.

And... my FAVORITE one... The 10 commandments are not a multiple choice.

Life is too short to wake up with regrets....
So love the people who treat you right.
Forget about the ones who don't.
Believe everything happens for a reason.
If you get a second chance, grab it with both hands.
If it changes your life, let it.
Nobody said life would be easy, they just promised it would be worth it .
Friends are like balloons; once you let them go, you might not get them back.
Sometimes we get so busy with our own lives and problems that we may not even notice that we've let them fly away.
Sometimes we are so caught up in who's right and who's wrong that we forget what's right and wrong.

Sometimes we just don't realize what real friendship means until it is too late. I don't want to let that happen so I'm gonna tie you to my heart so I never lose you.

* Relationships

People come into your life for a reason, a season or a lifetime. When you know which one it is, you will know what to do for that person..

When someone is in your life for a REASON, it is usually to meet a need you have expressed. They have come to assist you through a difficulty, to provide you with guidance and support,To aid you physically, emotionally or spiritually. They may seem like a godsend and they are. They are there for the reason you need them to be. Then, without any wrongdoing on your part or at an inconvenient time,This person will say or do something to bring the relationship to an end. Sometimes they die. Sometimes they walk away.Sometimes they act up and force you to take a stand. What we must realize is that our need has been met, our desire fulfilled, their work is done. The prayer you sent up has been answered and now it is time to move on.
Some people come into your life for a SEASON, because your turn has come to share, grow or learn. They bring you an experience of peace or make you laugh. They may teach you something you have never done. They usually give you an unbelievable amount of joy. Believe it, it is real. But only for a season.
LIFETIME relationships teach you lifetime lessons,Things you must build upon in order to have a solid emotional foundation. Your job is to accept the lesson, Love the person and put what you have learned to use in all other relationships and areas of your life.

It is said that love is blind but friendship is clairvoyant.

This was sent to me by my sister Jennie, a LIFETIME friend! ((Hugs!))

"We are all a team, working together toward the same games. We can't get there without each other." My own thought!
